Dr. Scott Overton

Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make St. Johns Vision Clinic the leading provider of vision care products and services in Portland.

Doctor Overton has been the owner of St Johns Vision Clinic since 1987. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and is very good at applying your special visual needs to your eye care choices and treatments.

Doctor Overton is a native Oregonian and a graduate of Benson Polytechnic High School. He then went on to the University of Puget Sound for undergraduate education and to the Pacific University College of Optometry for his Doctor of Optometry degree. Following graduation from Pacific, Dr. Overton did a residency in Family Practice Optometry at the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Optometry.

Besides his practice in St Johns, Dr. Overton also works as an attending Optometric Physician for the Pacific University College of Optometry program where he works with students in the contact lens and low vision clinics as well as the primary care clinic.

Doctor Overton lives in NE Portland with his wife Carole and his twin sons, Patrick and Thomas.
